The intention of the Solective Solar Collective is to create a space where small solar businesses and independent contractors can come together to share resources such as knowledge, tools and talent as well as increase buying power. Working collaboratively through shared values and guiding principles, the goal is to help reduce burden and overhead while supporting solar professionals to deliver what they do best while navigating the volatile and ever changing conditions of the solar industry.

Solective's long-term vision is to build a resilient, values-driven ecosystem where small solar companies and sole proprietors can focus on work, energy independence for customers and sustainable growth in an ever changing solar industry.

The Solar Collective is building a dynamic, nonprofit-powered platform and shared infrastructure that enables small solar companies and sole proprietors to collaborate effectively, grow sustainably, and thrive—while staying true to the independence and passion that define their work.
Members and supporters contribute resources—tools, equipment, knowledge, time, or modest investments—into a collective pool aligned with our shared values of quality, integrity, self-sufficiency, and customer-first solar. In return, everyone gains access to benefits that reduce barriers and amplify strengths. In pooling resources, we dramatically lower costs on essentials like materials, insurance, equipment, training, and admin tasks. This frees members to focus on what they love most: delivering exceptional installs, helping customers achieve real energy independence, and honing their craft.
The platform provides the practical amenities, clear roles, and streamlined processes needed to operate smoothly and scale smartly—without forcing anyone into unwanted corporate structures or constant management burdens.
Using flexible contracts and agreements, we establish trusted working relationships for projects, resource sharing, and collaboration. Members decide who they partner with and how—whether teaming up for larger jobs, referring overflow work, or sharing leads—keeping full control over their brand and direction.
Together, we foster a culture driven by high standards and mutual respect. Through peer-to-peer support, mentorship, and transparent evaluation systems, we measure progress, share best practices, and develop the skills that strengthen both individual members and the broader solar industry.
Solective isn’t about replacing your business—it’s about giving those in the solar industry the collective strength, shared backbone, and supportive network to build a more resilient, rewarding, and values-aligned path in solar. We’re creating the ecosystem many of us wish had existed from the start—so independent pros can not only survive but truly thrive.

As a start up non-profit, we are igniting interest of small local solar companies, sole proprietors and industry supporters to join us as we move into the next phases of growth and development.
PHASE 1
LAUNCH
We have completed the first phase of successfully organizing, registering and setting up the Solective non-profit organization.
PHASE 2
AWARENESS
We are currently in the process of making the local solar community aware of Solective's mission, vision and next steps to build the solar collective.
PHASE 3
COMMUNITY BUILDING
This phase will focus on mobilizing interest into action through community building, engagement and facilitating business around shared values.
PHASE 4
PROOF OF CONCEPT
This phase will focus on creating a pilot proof of concept that will demonstrate the viability and support for the vision and mission of Solective.
